TIANJIN’S FINANCIAL DISTRICT ALLURES PROMISE FOR INVESTORS

Weber Shandwick and Jack Morton teams in China and New York joined forces to showcase China’s northern port city of Tianjin’s Yujiapu Financial District. Held at the Mandarin Oriental in New York, the campaign successfully showcased the district to leading financial services and investment firms. Weber Shandwick managed both US and Chinese media outlets, while advising participants and securing top-level stakeholders. Following the main reception, a private dinner was held with a small group of highly influential executives and policymakers, providing the Chinese delegation with a forum for more in-depth discussions. The event exceeded expectations and helped position the financial district as an attractive investment. Yujiapu is now seen as the newest and most dynamic future financial hub in China and also the world.
