Elizabeth Bae Named Managing Director, Korea
Weber Shandwick is proud to announce the promotion of Elizabeth Bae to managing director for its South Korea operations.
As managing director, Bae will report to Tyler Kim, CEO, Asia Pacific, Weber Shandwick and will oversee the operational and growth strategy for the Korean business.
Having joined the business in October 2020 as EVP, South Korea, Bae soon took on the role of deputy managing director where she continued to lead the corporate practice for the market, supported the firm’s multi-market clients for outward expansion and oversaw business operations. Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, Bae led BCW Korea’s business operations in the Korean market.
“Elizabeth has been a key member of our Korean operations over the past three years and has an in-depth understanding of the overall business and operations in Seoul. I am honoured to have been a part of her growth trajectory and look forward to working with her to take the Korean business into new dimensions of growth,” commented Kim.
